Olympic star Hilary Knight to be traded to PWHL Detroit: Reports
Hilary Knight is headed to Detroit, according to published reports late Monday night.
The five-time Olympian and one of the most successful players in women's hockey is set to be traded to PWHL Detroit for a first-round draft choice.
The Associated Press and The Hockey News said Knight will first sign a contract with expansion Las Vegas as part of Phase 2 of the league's expansion signing process.
The deal won't become official until the league's trade freeze lifts on June 16, a day before the PWHL draft at the Fox Theater in Detroit.
